This Week's Episode

This week, THE AMERICAN RANCHER has a great century ranch story with the Linda Davis family. Located in northeastern New Mexico at the foot of the Sangre de Cristo mountain range, the CS Cattle Company covers 130,000 acres of privately owned plains, foothills and mountain country that was originally part of the Maxwell Land Grant. The CS is a working cattle ranch and hunting operation and has been family owned and operated since 1873.

Coming next week, THE AMERICAN RANCHER has an individual type rancher story as we sit down with Pete Bonds and get his perspective on ranching in today's business world. What you get from Pete is a very straightforward, plain-spoken outlook on ranching. Pete is a colorful individual who has a passion for the cattle business - which is the first point he is careful to make when he discusses things ranchwise. Bonds Ranch is involved in every stage of beef production from cow-calf to stockers to feeders to ownership to the rail. Bonds Ranch is a unique story that we found quite interesting from a stockmen's point of view.

The American Rancher, hosted by Pam Minick, is entering its fifth year of broadcasting on RFD-TV. The series began in the fall of 2004 and brings audiences in touch with the people and places that make ranching an American lifestyle. Show episodes premiere each Monday night @ 9:00 PM EST and re-air Tuesdays @ 11:00 AM EST and again on Sundays @ Noon EST.

The American Rancher is a half-hour television series that continues to reach a vast audience through RFD-TV. The American Rancher is produced through a magazine, and regularly an infomercial, type format that features livestock producers, their ranches, livestock and ranching practices along with occasional personalities as primary show guests or program topics. Alongside the primary show guest, the show periodically includes a segment designed for young people called The Young American Rancher. These stories briefly profile youth and young people from ages 7-25 that are involved with livestock, FFA, 4H, Rodeo or their family operation.
